Andrew Park: Making Your Mark Through Urbane & Gallant

By RepoStage

Born in Los Angeles and now rooted in Paris, Urbane & Gallant redefines contemporary menswear through the dialogue between timeless tailoring and modern individuality. For its founder, Andrew Park, a suit is more than a garment: it is an expression of character, confidence and personal ambition. Guided by the philosophy “Make Your Mark,” the brand brings together craftsmanship, understated luxury and a commitment to social and environmental responsibility.

Repostage : Why did Urbane & Gallant choose Paris as its European base?

Andrew:  Paris has an extraordinary influence on global culture, fashion and the way people understand style. For us, it felt like a natural fit. Urbane & Gallant was born in Los Angeles, but Paris gives the brand a different kind of cultural impact and allows us to express our vision in a truly international environment. We wanted to be present where craftsmanship, individuality and style have such a strong history.

Repostage:  What does “Make Your Mark” mean to you?

Andrew: “Make Your Mark” is about becoming the person you choose to be. For me, clothing is not simply about appearance. It is about confidence, character and the impact you have on the people and world around you. Every man has his own story, his own profession and his own seasons of life. We want to give him the freedom to express that.

“A suit is more than fabric. It is a reflection of the person you choose to become.”

Repostage: What do you want Urbane & Gallant to become in the future?

Andrew: I want U&G to become more than a clothing brand. I want it to be a universe and a community. A platform where people can express themselves, connect with one another and make their own mark. If we can create clothing that gives someone confidence, joy and a sense of purpose, then we are doing something meaningful. For us, the mark is not only on the clothing. It is in the person who wears it.
